Brittany Mahomes to Be Inducted Into UT Tyler Hall of Fame in 2026
Just a year after Patrick Mahomes received his honour at the Texas High School Football Hall of Fame in Waco—with Brittany supporting him from the stands—the tables have turned, and it's now her moment in the spotlight.
The University of Texas at Tyler has revealed its 2026 Hall of Fame inductees, with Brittany Mahomes earning a well-deserved spot. She'll join Dr. Howard Patterson and the 2016 Softball Team as members of the sixth class to enter the UT Tyler Athletics Hall of Fame.
Athletics Director Sam Ferguson expressed his enthusiasm about the announcement. "The 2026 UT Tyler Hall of Fame class is truly elite," he stated, and the credentials back up his words.
Outstanding Soccer Achievements at UT Tyler
During her time with the Patriots from 2013 through 2016, Brittany didn't just compete—she excelled. Her career totals place her second in programme history for both points (78) and goals (31), the type of offensive output that makes championship runs possible.
Her all-time rankings also include third place in game-winning goals (10) and assists (16). She tied for third in total appearances with 74 matches, demonstrating remarkable durability and reliability throughout her university career.
Her final campaign in 2016 stands as her crowning achievement. That season, she established programme benchmarks with 40 points, 18 goals, and seven game-winning goals—records that still stand today.
Recognition Beyond the Pitch
Ferguson emphasized that Brittany's influence extends well beyond her impressive statistics. "Her career pales in comparison to the incredible work she has been doing to advance women in sport," he noted.
Still, those playing statistics remain remarkable by any measure. She recorded four hat tricks during her tenure, matching the school's single-game record and proving her ability to take over matches when it mattered most.
For Patriots supporters and those who follow women's football, this recognition has been eagerly anticipated. Brittany's achievements at UT Tyler remain unmatched in the programme's history, and her March induction ceremony will make it official. The Mahomes family is expected to attend the celebration in full support.
