That said, extensive experience doesn't magically solve the problem of an eight-week preparation period. Ghana kicks off Group L action against Panama on June 17 in Toronto, before squaring off with England and Croatia in what shapes up as a legitimately challenging group. Friendlies are scheduled against Mexico on May 22 and Wales on June 2, giving Queiroz minimal competitive minutes to implement his tactical approach before matches truly matter.
